There should be a single shutoff valve that will stop all of the water going into your home. It should be located somewhere near the hose hookup. This will control only the inlet of water to your home. Now you can make the changes you need to your plumbing. This could mean fixing a leak, replacing pipes or drain lines, or even installing a new toilet, shower, or dishwasher. Next, take your saw using the right saw for the right material , and cut about an inch above and an inch below the mark you made to identify the leaky place. Make sure that both of the remaining ends of the pipe are well cleaned and are smooth so that they do not have any filings or burs.

Website 0 comments Our house was supposed to be ready in October of and it is still not ready. We were told to call the gas company to get the gas hooked up and they have been out twice now. The second they discovered that only the furnace was hooked up and the range and hot water tank was not hooked up. Then the electric company comes out. Now our house has been on the foundation for months now and the electrical company discovers that the line from the road to the house box was NEVER RUN!
There is no electrical line to the house! Then after it took months to build a simple garage they had to bust holes in the foundation of the garage because they didn’t add enough vents to the foundation. This same thing happened on the house foundation earlier in the year and they still didn’t add enough vents on the garage knowing they had to after building the house foundation.
They were supposed to hook the water up last week it’s still not on Then we have numerous other things like the closet walls that were never finished. I’m saying the closet wall drywall doesn’t have anything on it.

Jan 12, 1 comments I purchased a clayton home. If your thinking about purchasing a home from clayton homes please stay away from these frauds. Buy yourself a real stick built house. MY doors need replaced after 2 years. I bought the home in and the doors will not shut. I would call them up to complain, but they would just replace it with the same garbage. I told them I wanted a small deck built on the front.
I told them a deck and they put a concrete slab out front. When I hear deck I think of wood. I was going to tear down or add on in the future. I now have to get a jack hammer to remove the slab. I also told them I wanted a heat pump and the guy shows up with an air conditioner and I have to pay the difference for a heat pump, which is about dollars.
Then the worst part they built part of my garage on some one elses land. The guy thinks clayton homes should pay for the 2 feet of land that they built the garage on his land, I totally agree.
Comments 33 Mobile homes are built on a chassis designed to be moved. The cost to relocate a unit is determined by the size, the distance to be traveled, and whether it is transport only or a full-service move which includes disconnect and reconnect of utilities, porches or other attachments. These rates are based on per-mile charges.
Shorter distances will cost less, longer moves will cost more. Taller homes with cathedral or gable roofs typically cost more to move because possible travel routes may be limited, often resulting in more miles.
Water meters are mechanical devices and most work in a similar manner. They have a measurement device in an inner chamber that is calibrated to record the amount of water that goes through the meter. Most meters in one, two and three family homes record water in tenths of cubic feet. A tenth of a cubic foot of water is approximately equivalent.

Joel was good to work with and continues to be. Definitely recommend Next Modular. I love this guy. I built my dream home with Next Modular. If you can dream it, we can build it! Anything over will incur an extra charge, but this does not happen often in our immediate local area. Also, the pictures and artists renditions you see on our website along with the floorplans typically show optional home upgrades, garages, porches and other things such as landscaping and driveways that will need to be priced out in addition to the modular home sale price.
We price these on a case by case basis.
This can include getting rid of clutter and boxes, moving out additional pieces of furniture, and other similar tasks. Where you live, the size of your construction budget, and how much land you have and can effectively use will impact your selection. The choice of location is likely to be determined by a variety of considerations. The type of neighborhood, tax rate, length of commute to work, and quality of the school system are likely to be important. Proximity to family and friends, the distance to shopping centers, and access to recreational activities might also matter. Privacy, traffic noise, and what you can do with the lot such as put in a swimming pool may be paramount concerns.
The location of a building lot is seldom in itself of special consequence when considering a modular home.
